I am now 72 years old, 6 foot tall, and since the middle of last April I
have reduced my weight from 275 to 188 pounds. I feel anything under 190
pounds would be a good 'maintaining weight, since my lowest weight during my
young adult life, while doing extremely hard work, was 185 pounds.
My blood pressure has also benefited since it went from 140/110
(previously spending $150 for 18 months of Lisinopril 'b/p pill') to the
present 100/60.
My current points total is 29. I started at 37. I seldom use more
than 15 points per day. For the first 4 months I had a 'crash diet'
attitude, and ate only when I could suffer it no more. And then I only ate
salads. Some days I ate nothing at all. After that I began a regular
single meal a day of 16 points.
My problem is that if I use my full points I gain weight.
I have no idea how to design and use a 'maintaining' regime, since I put on
weight so easily. My tutor recommended I eat out twice a week and diet
inbetween.

Hi, Pintlar,
Maybe your weight loss routine was broken. You should maintain what
program you have started. But, that problem of yours now exist, maybe try
to search online on what proper diet program you should in order to loss
weight again. I know certain programs involved here but you have to select
the best diet program that fits your or consult your doctor for this. Try
to visit some sites involving diet programs. As a suggestion. you can try
this http://dietebookreviews.com maybe this can help your problem.

first you need to reread your ww materials, then design a maintaince plan
for yourself. and if yu have been starving yourself you might gain at first
because your body is trying to catch up, just figure out good foods and plan
a menu then stick with it for two months to give it all a chance, then
reevaluate, Lee
