I can hike again! I walked 7 miles in 2.5 hours. It's a minor
milestone, along with being able to fit into booths at a local
restaurant without sucking in my stomach, but it feels good. :)

Wonderful progress, 'comp.' Do you feel more energetic?

Definitely,

except for right after the hike, when my feet didn't want to move!

It's your first time back. Give it time.

Again, congratulations on the progress. I'm amazed that you notice a
change after only 14 pounds of loss. Wait a couple of weeks until your
wife starts noticing!

Seven miles is much more than a 'minor' milestone.  Congratulations!
