To lose a mere five pounds, or fit into one size smaller, that word
'exercise' might be the answer. A bit more, a change of the usual, a
different plan might work off the extra bit to just plainly step it up
a bit. Your foods appear to be spot on, so seek to use more calories by
exercising more (or better or different).

I exercise regularly and the weight does not budge. But three weeks ago
I got one of those lower back things that renders you helpless and it
has just gone away. I need to resume the regime gradually. I have
exercised for six years, lifted weights, climbed stairs and aside from
being more fit and flexible, not a dent in losing weight. ( I also walk
every day.)

My personal experience is that it is possible, even easy, to eat enough
to avoid losing weight no matter how much exercise one does. That
includes Basic Training or week long canoe trips.
