Hi all,

We got home from NC this afternoon.  We had my mother's memorial
service yesterday, and that pretty much wrapped up what we needed to
do down there.  It was a stressful week, but my mother's death was
really a blessing at this point.  I'm still trying to get used to the
idea that she's not here anymore, though.  Let me thank all of you who
offered your condolences, thoughts, and prayers; it means a lot.

We ate pretty badly all week -- now I know what comfort eating is, I
think!  Considering the immediately preceding 3 nights were wine
dinners, I'm feeling kind of porky.  But my normal lifestyle starts
again tonight -- complete with turkey burger :-).

Because we left so suddenly, I'm busy trying to get things organized a
bit here, so am not really catching up with the list tonight.  I'll be
back as usual in a day or two.

*hugs n stuff*

In the mist of "re-organizing", find a little "Chris time" will ya? A big
part of a healthy lifestyle is taking care of ourselves body and mind (and
heart).

Definitely take your time through this. And don't feel bad about the
eating, it will only add to the stress. We can fix the eating a lot
easier than fixing the pain of a lost loved one. Concentrate on
recovering and the rest will follow.
