High protein sure makes you feel good. I started this yo-yo business of
switching nutrients daily – today was the high protein one and it sure
feels better than the high fat one yesterday. The high fat day is harder
to menu because of keeping saturated fats to a minimum – don’t plan on
gaining weight. Carbs & protein are easy, although I had to run out and
buy some protein powder today as a quick fix. Next time around I’ll have
the protein at hand.

I can see why people on the ‘Idiot’s’ diet think the menus are a weird
food combinations. Apparently they are computer selected and a computer
couldn’t tell compatible foods from just the nutriment requirements.
[Liver and oatmeal sandwich anyone?]

Tomorrow is the high carb day and I am looking forward to spaghetti and
(buffalo) meatballs. Ha!

Fat Day was: Protein 19%, Carbs 65% and Fats 15%
Protein Day was: Protein 45%, Carbs 47% and Fats 7%
Carb Day menu will be: Protein 18%, Carbs 75% and Fats 6%

I’ll keep this up for a week or two and see if it makes a difference on
my weighloss daily with a base line of 0.26 lbs a day. Will post results
if anyone is interested.
