Wow.
I started on Monday at 240.5 lbs.
I've been exercising fairly regularly for 5 months.
It's just this week that I've been watching my calories...
about 1800 cal a day + 50 cals for every 20-30 min of exercise or 1
mile walked.

The scale tells me this morning... 236.

Either it's lying or I've lost water wt or water+fat.

Altho I'm impressed, let's see what it says on Monday and in a month.

Well, I'm off work today.  Me and my gal are going to workout at
24Fit, then to breakfast
to share an omlet... actually, by that time, it will be around noon.
I better have a piece
of fruit now...

The first week almost always includes a bit of water loss, but you've
made a good start.  You can expect the rate of loss to slow down some,
but just keep doing what you're doing.  It looks like you're doing all
the right stuff.

I was also exercising before I began cutting calories (and keeping
track of them), and it took that before I lost any significant weight.
