Last week I started my weight-loss diet for real by keeping a diary. In
the mean time I've started eating more fruit and veggies, and to my
surprise I actually quite enjoy them. Even the kids are asking me for
raw carrots, so I'm motivated by them to keep up the good example.

In spite of several parties and a continuing lack of self-discipline at
times, I managed to loose my first few kilo's. That was a very nice
start! Now only a lot more to go, but first I hope to reach the 90kg
mark by the end of May.

BTW the loss isn't entirely due to dieting, my first weight was at the
start of my period, when I retain at least 1 kg in fluids. Nevertheless,
that implies the other 1kg is true loss.

Keeping a diary was a real eye opener for me. I  didn't realize
how many extra 'snacks' I was eating.

Keeping a diary helps count the number of fruits and veggies you're
eating.

By dinner time you can see if you need to add a couple more
colorful veggies to your plate or salad.

Keep it up.
