Besides spammers there are only about 10 people who seem to post
occasionally. Probably fewer than 100 people even read the posts on a
given day. Most of the Google groups are this way it seems. I don't
really know why an international forum would be so small either.
Theory 2 is that there are no more overweight people....nah, forget
theory 2; I want to a pizza buffet for lunch and saw the evidence. dkw

It's pretty dead, I must admit. I keep wondering why I bother to check
in and read. Habit I suppose. I don't do much Usenet anymore. I prefer
web forums. And even there, I just don't have the time to read/post
that much.

Like you, I still read but seldom post anymore.
I guess my part-time job with WW keeps me on track diet wise :)

I have to get better about keeping on track with my own diet. Even
fairly small slips just stall me now that I'm over 50.

Well, looks like I could be joining soon... got the UPS tracking
number for my bike, it's arriving next week. A good thing, as I've
been not so hot with the eating and have had a bit of regain lately.
Just popped by the local bike shop, they say they can assemble for
$25, so that was good news.
