250/200

I got on the scales today were 250 pounds. So on day 1 of my 100 Day
Diet, I'm starting with the very round number of 250.

I'm aiming at 1000 calories today and will avoid bread, fast food,
beer, etc. Time to start "being good enough for long enough" to
improve my health.  100 days from now will be the Tuesday before
Thanksgiving. I hope to reach that holiday delighted with the progress
I’ve made.

I hope everyone has a great day and a great week ahead!

Yours,

Caleb

Del -

Then great! Another four years of protection from Diabetes 2 (it runs
in my family), etc.

More health, etc.

Thanks!

Caleb

What ever happened to the newsgroup that you started last year?  And how
come you seem to need to do this self aggrandizing crash diet every
year?  Too many fritos the rest of the year?

Health is the reason. Losing weight is the answer. That's the primary
reason for this news group.

I hope everyone can stay away from the junk foods they eat too much
of.

Caleb

Ending Day 1 of 100 Days (Let's see if we can get more than Moderate
Activity on alt.support.diet -- this used to be a pretty busy group
and it deals with pretty important matters.)

Just got back from my evening walk -- 40 minutes with ankle weights
(10 pounds around each ankle) and pumping 8 pound weights up and down.
A great work out and I was sweating quite quickly.

So far 900 calories and I hope to call it a night (in terms of
consuming calories).

I'm looking forward to the scale tomorrow! I hope everyone is having a
great day!

Yours,

Caleb
