Has anyone tried the "warrior diet?" Any opinions about it?

Thanks.

There is one poster named JC Der Koenig in alt.support.diet.low-carb,
he tried it. Another fellow in sci.life-extension tried it as well.

I think that the idea that a large part of the day should be free of
eating, is sound for healthy people, but whether it should be 14 hours
or 22 hours is open to debate.

I eat between 7:30am and 6pm, and it works well for me.

Sounds like quackery.  Get your exercise, eat moderate portions
of a wide variety of high fiber, low fat food, and repeat
indefinitely, if you want to be healthy.

Has to do with our biological hardwiring. Skip breakfast and lunch and
have a big dinner. It reminds me of fasting in that your body is free
to detox for 20 some hours and I like the effects of fasting....

Just asking....

My feeling is that on such a diet, it is hard to get enough of
vegetable stuff, due to space limitations of the stomach. So I would
not do it, for that reason alone.

That said, if you like benefits on fasting, wy not try actual fasting,
such as fasting one day once in a while?
