Hello ASD friends,
It's been a while since I've posted a thread except for the new photos
thread. Anyway I weighed in today and was 214 pounds, that's 86 pounds I've
lost since August 27th, 2003 which by the way will be 6 months tomorrow.
I've lost an average of 14.33 pounds per month and I'm over 2/3 the way to
my goal. I feel as if the weight loss is slowing as time goes by, but
somehow I feel more confident I'm going to reach my goal and even have hopes
to surpass it. Even though I have a lot of fat left to lose I can tell my
fat is thinning out, and feel my stomach muscles, still beneath but nearing
the surface, my love handles are receding and I'm feeling better about
myself daily.
I'm still walking 4 miles a day, 5 times a week (weather permitting), and
using a stairclimber one hour/day 5 times a week. Eating smaller portions,
five times a day as well.
Other good news, my friend from a previous workplace is pretty sure I have
a new job with him around March 6th. I haven't worked in 2-1/2 years and am
a little nervous. Being 86 pounds lighter sure helps me with my confidence.
Take care and good luck with weight loss goals and maintenance,
Paul

Wow, Paul, you are doing so well. It's lovely to hear you describe
the changes you've noticed as a result of losing so much weight.
Good news on the work front - keep us posted.

Hey Paul, that's great news all around! Don't let any slowdown discourage
you at all...you've actually lost weight rather quickly for someone not on a
VLCD. Gotta love those muscles :)
