March 1 weigh in

I haven't been near my scales since my last weigh-in on February 1,
and this morning they tell me that in that time I've lost another 7
lbs.
I try not to remind myself that this is at least the third time in the
past year that I've done this bit of the journey - I hate retracing my
steps!
The good news is that at the moment my commitment to my WOE is feeling
really strong and I'm keeping within my 1500 calories.
This is a good milestone to have passed also, as not only am I in the
170s (didn't even know that until I got out the calculator!) but I'm
back in the 12 stones, which sounds more like slightly overweight
rather than bordering on obese.
I've put my scales away now until April 1 and plan to just get on with
my life.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Great news Janice :) You're sounding really good about it all.

I've decided to move to monthly posting of results too.....as my loss has
increased it's gettign slower and I think monthly will be a little more
meaningful.

Thanks Cellach.  I find it much better to weigh monthly, thereby
getting the bigger picture.  I know my WOE works and that if | stick
to it | lose weight, so I don't see why I need to be checking my
progress every five minutes.  For some, this approach doesn't work -
we're all different.
You're doing well yourself - keep up the good work.  Spring is in the
air today and that always makes me feel more optimistic:)

Thanks Laurie.  LOL, some of my friends would laugh to hear me
described as sane and sensible.  But these days, where my WOE is
concerned I try very hard to be.

Thank you glo, but please don't feel jealous:)  We're all in this
together and you'll be on the move again soon, I'm sure.
How long is it before you go away?

Janice,

It is great to see that you aren't obsessing about numbers and don't look at
a number for success!

Thanks PG, but I have to confess to a feeling of excitement when it's
time to get on the scales - it's good to have some positive feedback
every so often:)
