Well it's been a year since I started my diet & exercise routine, here
are my before and after pics, I hope I uploaded them correctly.

http://community.webshots.com/user/hamburger136

There's not a whole lot of variety in my diet and I tend to eat the
same things every day.  My most typical foods are:

Quaker instant oatmeal and honey
Arnold Healthy Multi-grain bread
Perdue low-fat breaded chicken breast tenderloins
Natural Peanut Butter
Grape Jelly
Bumblebee low-sodium canned tuna
+90% lean ground beef for burger patties
Ginger Ale
Seltzer
Planter's sweet n' crunchy peanuts
Nature Valley 100% natural granola bars
Low-fat variety graham crackers
Bananas
Salmon
brocolli, califlower, lettuce
various tapioca/rice puddings

I also take 1 multi-vitamin a day.

As far as exercise goes, I do 1-1.5hr elliptical + some pushups and
incline situps every day.  And every other day I add to that some
weight training which consists of deadlifts, bench presses and various
dumbell work.

I guess I should go get a checkup and see what my cholestrol and blood
pressure readings are, the last time I saw the doctor was maybe 4-5
years ago, and honestly speaking, doctors scare me, heh.  But overall
I do feel a lot more healthy and energetic.

That's supposed to be a good way to lose weight and maintain loss by not
having much variety.  It works for me too.
Congrats on the major loss!

Woah. Way to go! You are a great success and look great! You dropped the
pounds fast. You will be my motivation and inspiration for this week! In
the beginning I too lived on the same foods. As I get closer to goal I
have been adding different foods slowly into my diet. This helps me
tremendously. When I add a food.If I find that it doesnt agree with me or
sets heavily on my. I drop it never to look back upon it.

Great success! You have shown that it can be done. And I am soooo happy
for you. And proud! Have fun living in your new body!!

You look 15 year younger on the second picture. Amazing stuff! Someone
should create a directory of all those "before and after" pictures,
especially people who lost more than 100 lbs and are maintaining.

Wow, you look amazing!  Do you find it difficult to fit in so much exercise
every day??  At best, I try to make it 4-5x a week and that can be a
struggle at times!  Do you do interval on the elliptical?

I was going to blow off exercise today in light of a hectic schedule.  You
changed my mind!  You are incredible.  And you look good, too.

I have to say it, you look maaaavelous!  Just curious, do you have an
elliptical at home, or do you go to the gym every day?  I'm seriously
considering an elliptical for my home, as soon as I go back to work.  I
seriously think even 20 minutes first thing in the morning would do me
wonders.

My gym has the Precor EFX546 (http://www.epinions.com/content_78594608772).
They just got 14 in 2 weeks ago and it is AWESOME...  I did an hour of
intervals on it yesterday and felt great after.

It is a shame that it is so big and expensive....

Yeah, our gym has these.  I tend to run more often than other things,
but I really like the Precor.  I think I'm going to do it more for a
while, because Ahmed would like me to back off on running until after
the National Masters next month.

I tend to find the elliptical to be dull. It's the same movement over and
over again. I prefer the treadmill, although having a treadmill at home
would take up my whole apartment. : )  I haven't been going to the gym as
often as usual because of skiing, but when I do, I've been getting in 1-2
miles of running on the treadmill. It's been good.

Its all personal preference.  I find any one cardio machine dull after some
times, that is why I do the elliptical, treadmill and bike for variety.  I
was just impressed with how much this machine worked me and made me sweat
(and I am not a sweater).

I'm not a big fan of doctors either.  You seem like you're eating the
right things, but it would be good to have your counts checked.  It's
possible to have high blood pressure and/or cholesterol even when eating
healthy.

Keep up the good work!
