Hello Everyone,

Today I went for my first time to the gym in quite a few years.  I walked
four miles in their indoor track, used their junkie stairclimber, which a
maintenance worker told me that was about to be thrown out and two new ones
would replace it, plus I used an elliptical machine for the first time ever.
I really liked it and it kicked my butt.  In less than 30 minutes I was
sweating like a dog.  I decided that 30 minutes was long enough and headed
home.

After getting home I weighed myself and was 211 pounds.  I know that some
of this is water weight, but I am so happy that the weight is still coming
off.  I've lost 89 pounds now and am looking at getting to that 100 pound
mark.  Only 36 pounds to reach my goal...YAHOO...life is good!

I hope things are well with everyone.

Sincerely,

Paul

Good stuff, Paul!  Elliptical machines are really good exercise, and
they're especially good for those with joint issues.

Wow Paul,   Sounds likea great workout.

I used the ellipticals alot while on vacation, and my knees are paying for
it.  They took a big toll on my knee.  I know they are supposd to be good on
the joints, but they kicked my butt (knees).

So, is the gym going to be a new hobby for you?

At least for the next year.  If I like it I'll probably sign up another
year.  I've been doing ok by myself, but being around others who are health
conscious, and all those weights too is good for someone who wants to change
their life to a healthy one.

I really like the elliptical and I'm thinking of getting one instead of a
treadmill.  It's good to try new things and shake up the routine every so
often.

Keep up the good work Paul!!
