I'm NOT throwing away my food plan !! I NEED to stay on my WOE/WOL for
each and every day even during vacation :)) I DO NOT WANT to gain back
anything! I'm taking my 'book' with me(Dr Phil) and I'm going to read it
constantly so I won't think I'm normal !!! I NEED to keep my head
straight. I'll say bye before I leave here. I will lo for a pc to scan

Have fun! We will mentaly send you strength to help you along with those
temptations that may tug at your pant leg. Though I don't think you will
need it. You are strong and in CONTROL. :) Have fun and enjoy the
weather...
Try not to go out and eat much. That helps me when I'm away from home
 to stay on track.

Just some thunderstorms.  I checked out the forecast for Houston:

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=Houston%2C+TX

Looks pretty good for the rest of this week.  They don't seem to have a
listing for Sugarland but I think it's close enough to Houston for the
weather to be the same.

Thanks Tonia! I think TX looks VERY GOOD as we leave several feet of
snow behind:)) PLUS COLD! Although today is 43 and Fri  will be 49. Than
BACk to the low 30s again.

You're welcome.  It's very rainy here today but with the drought we've had
the past few years, we never turn down rain or snow.  Hopefully the bulk of
the storms that are moving in from the west will be gone by the time you get
here.

Hey glo,

Consider getting yourself a journal to keep track of
your eating/exercise (walking, siteseeing, etc) and
your emotions--maybe it'll help you deal with your
triggers and cravings while you're away, and you can
record all of the fun things you did and report back.

Hope you have a great time visiting your family!

Amy
Off to the gym!

Hello Gloria,
Welcome to Texas!  Let me know when you get here and I'll role out the red
carpet...lol.  Don't forget everything is BIGGER in Texas and so is the
food...lol.  I know you'll do fine on you dieting.  Have fun on your trip.

There's a singer/songwriter named Butch Hancock who sings "You can drive all
day and never leave Texas."  And it's true.  I'm all the way up here in
Lubbock and the climate and landscape are totally different from the coastal
area and the DFW area is also different from this area (DFW area is
greener).  Far West Texas is desert and mountains.  I hope that you get to
take some day trips or longer and see the rest of our beautiful state.
You're coming at a good time of the year; it won't be too hot yet.

I hope you have a wonderful time Glo.  I can feel the excitement in
your posts.  It will be great if you can keep in touch with asd
sometimes while you're away.  And most important of all, don't forget
to report in when you get back:)

And I leave Texas for vacation!  Houston is kinda flat and humid.... I've
never been to Sugarland but I've been to Houston a bunch.  If you have time,
check out Spring, TX which is near Houston.  They have the neatest little
antique and craft stores and it is so pretty there.  Have fun!

Thanks MH!! I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of TX! The rodeo is
right after we arrive there and my DD has cow boy hats waiting for us to
wear :))

Gloria - 03 Mar 2004 14:32 GMT
PG, DD has been in TX since Christmas and she is LOVING TX!!!
The really great thing is that I bought a new ot fit to wear in TX and
it fits me :)) I got it too small but it  fits now! I FEEL great going
with my new outfit and I need to keep this size or I'll not have many
clothes to wear there:)))
Where are you going for your vacation? You can come to Upstate NY and
stay in my home:) But wear snow shoes as the snow is DEEP and the it's
very cold too!

I'll soak up the sun in TX!!!

glo
Perple Gyrl - 03 Mar 2004 02:35 GMT
I doubt I'll be getting a vacation any time soon!  I used to live in NY when
I was a kid and I don't miss the snow!
