Read or don't read I'm just rambling.
I worked seven straight days this week. I am the only person in my
office who doesn't want overtime; I am at that stage in my life where
free time is more important than money. But as long as I'm getting the
extra money, I will use it for something fun
Which will be my May vacation. I'm planning on heading to New York, to
see seven Broadway shows in five days. I used to make the trip
annually, but I haven't for several years. Now that I can walk more
than a block without back spasms and getting short of breath, it's
perfect, because NYC is such a great walking city
For the first time in four years, I walked around my favorite lake
here in (name of decaying mid-Atlantic metropolis omitted). It's about
one mile and one-eighth around. Sure, it took me half an hour, but by
summer I hope to be back to walking around it three times in 60
minutes as I used to
On my lone day off Sunday (I foolishly remain optimistic that I won't
get called in to work again), I will take pictures of some of my
now-too-big clothes to perhaps sell on eBay. The weight is coming off
unevenly I've lost three pants sizes, but only one blouse size. It's
a wonder I don't tip over.

I know how you feel - I've finally put my foot down and refused to work any
more OT - but I have a contract that allows me to do that.

Growing up in northern NJ, I completely concur. NYC is great for walking
and window shopping :) I envy you getting to see all of those shows.

It will even out some over time, though it does depend on your natural
shape. I lose blouse sizes much more quickly than pants sizes. I also gain
pants sizes quicker when I retain water. Congrats on the loss, keep up the
good work!
