Anyone remember the word "turtle" from the TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)
program?  It means to stay the same weight, neither gain nor lose.

Well, I've turtled for the last seven days, stuck at one weight, even though
I've been good about eating, try to get a little walking in addition to the
housework, watching my sodium and cholesterol, etc.  I'm not discouraged,
I'm certain a loss will show up eventually, but my goodness I'd like to see
SOME progress!  I was getting excited about buying a new wardrobe but now
I'll have to wait.  I still have a few things which fit!

Only 7 days?  So you're a quarter of the way towards qualifying as
stalled by Dr Atkins' definition.  The time scale for loss is month
to month.  Trying to impose a shorter timeframe is optimistic but
unrealistic.

I got on the scale this morning, 238. Damn! (I was 236 Friday) Took a
shower, weighed again, 237.  Did I really lose two pounds of dirt? :0

No, I won't give up!  I can see you began above my weight and have the same
goal as I - but you are much further along.  I'll look to you for my
inspiration!

And don't YOU give up!
