Can anybody tell me if it is OK to go on an excersise bike every day Monday
through Friday and take the Week End off or is it better to stick to Monday,
Wednasday and Friday?

Unless you go to real extremes, it is okay to do it every day.

I'm thinking you could do it everyday. The bike is more of an aerobic
workout. If you were working out with weights and wanting to build muscles
in a specific area, then it would be recommended to take a day off between
exercising the same muscle.

3-5x a week would be good... I would eventually add other cardio to keep
your body from getting too used to just biking... what about walking every
other time you exercise?
