Jayjay - 11 Mar 2004 15:08 GMT I have finally found a drug coctail that is working with my sinus issue.
Clariton for the antihistimine. SinoFresh (www.sinofresh.com) to clean the sinuses out. Afrin to keep the sinuses clear. Aleve for the sinus headache
2 days of breathing clear. Although my ears are still a bit clogged and you can hear it in my voice, I can BREATH again, and I can sleep again, and that leads to feeling better, and not feeling like death warmed over.
Beverly - 11 Mar 2004 15:19 GMT Glad you found something that is working for you. I've tried all you list except the SinoFresh. I checked out their website and it doesn't seem to be available in my area :( I'm always looking for something that will help with my sinus problems.

Jayjay - 11 Mar 2004 16:48 GMT Its great stuff. Its got a minty type scent to it, so when it does go up in the sinuses, and drains down the throat, it doesn't make you gag like other stuff does.
Its new and made "local" for me. Its not cheap though, its about $16/bottle. Their website has a coupon for $3 off.

I smell distributorship. :)
I'll have to see if there is any way to get it to you guys. (aside from me buying and shipping. At $16/bottle, plus shipping, that would probably make it up to a $20 expense - I think a bit much)

Beverly - 12 Mar 2004 04:12 GMT I found a drug store in Kentucky that stocks it according to their website. I also sent an email inquiring whether they planned to sell it in Ohio. It looked as if a lot of the CVS stores stocked it. Maybe it's just a matter of time before the CVS in the area starting selling it.

Julianne - 12 Mar 2004 15:39 GMT I went and bought some at Walgreen's yesterday. I must say, I am impressed. I live with allergies and the stuff about mold really makes sense because of the south Louisiana humidity. My eyes weren't even puffy this morning.

I feel terrible this morning but I don't think it's related to sinus problems. My stomach hurts, I have diarrhea and ache all over. I fixed oatmeal for breakfast and took a couple of bites but couldn't finish it. I had a lot of errands I wanted to run this morning but all I feel like doing is going back to bed.

I hope you feel beter... It's been going around the office. One of my co-workers and my boss were out with the same thing this week. I spent the entire day in bed and feel better this morning. Hopefully it was just one of the 24 hour viruses.

I've been sick since Tuesday and I am getting worse. I've been coughing so much now that I am sure it has turned to bronchitis too. I am so hoarse I can barely talk (which I am sure my DH is thrilled lol)

Yesterday the stomach hurt too much to tolerate any food except a smoothie I fixed last night.

Warm water, saline and squeeze bottle. It's important to remove the medium for baterial growth.
Perple Gyrl - 12 Mar 2004 03:46 GMT I am glad you are feeling better! I got you beat for # of medicines being used...
This is what I am taking:
Z-pac for sinus infection Cortisone shot yesterday Allegra for antihistimine Guaifenesin to help me cough up this junk Afrin so I can breath Advil for headache Albuterol to help with wheezing and breathing Advair to help with wheezing and breathing
I am still feeling pretty crappy, but have just been on meds since yesterday. I could barely talk at work today which sucked since my job involves talking a lot...

Perple Gyrl - 12 Mar 2004 04:14 GMT At this point, I don't feel much of anything! I just wish I never smoked. I smoked for nearly 17 years before I quit in October last year. I wonder how long it will take to get my lungs to a healthier state. Every time I get sick like this, I get asthmatic. I didn't exercise tonight at all, just no energy... Will try tomorrow.

Don't over do it. Hope these allergies ease up for you soon.
Perple Gyrl - 13 Mar 2004 00:08 GMT Makes me happy that I finally quit for good!!

Hope these allergies ease up for you soon. Next to losing weight, quitting smoking a few years ago was the best thing I've ever done for myself.

Perple Gyrl - 13 Mar 2004 05:22 GMT Did you gain even more weight after you quit?

Perple Gyrl - 14 Mar 2004 22:51 GMT My hubby went out and bought me some SinoFresh today. I only used it once so far. It is very mentholy (if that is a word). I hope it helps with allergies!
