I lost a pound this week.  I was amazed, as this has been another
not-good diet week.  Combination of ill child and pressure of work
meant I didn't get much chance to exercise this week, and i've still
been struggling with those comfort eating demons.  But at least I have
not given in to them all the time, and I have tried to get moving when
I could (extra 10 mins added to walks to/from school, dancing round
the living room, stuff like that).  Next week will hopefully go a bit
better, I have missed my classes this week.

Hello Clarrie,

Congrats on losing that extra pound.  Keep on fighting those comfort
eating demons too.  Instead eat some raw vegetables or fruit to make that
daily recommended five servings per day and to make you full.  I hope your
child and your work both get better, and I hope you can get back on track
with your exercise and good eating habits.

Sincerely,

{Paul}300/207/175

thanks Paul :-)
sometimes life just conspires against us.  Tonight I decided to go
swimming, not been in over a week.  Got to the pool and it was closed
due to staff illness (probably they all got the same bug that my son
had).  Aaarrrrrrgh.  Well, at least I got a little bit of cycling out
of it, getting there and back.

It is better then no pound lost or a pound gained!

This is what you consider a "not-good diet week"?!?  I think this is
excellent.  Part of what you're doing as you lose this weight is slaying
those demons and teaching yourself better habits through trial and error
and practice practice practice.  You're trialing, you're erroring,
you're practicing, and you're on track to lose 5 pounds this month.

For some perspective on how I've dropped 65 pounds in 22 months you can
go look at my profile at www.bodyforlifetracker.com.  Look for Dally.
I'm going to update with pictures in a week or two (I've lost 10 pounds
since the last picture.)

By the way, I'm not in any rush at all to get to my goal weight.  I'm
just living as if I'm already at it, and slowly inching closer to being
there for the rest of my life (or menopause or what-have-you that
changes my metabolism again.)

thanks Dally :) It was a 'not-good diet week' as in, I wasn't being as
good as I had been in earlier weeks.  But like you say, I still worked
on practicing my new habits, and managed to stay on track.
