Breakfast: three tosts with honey.
Snack: missed because of the shopping
Lunch: Beans soup, salad, 2 bananas
Snack: 1 banana
Dinner:Chick-pea soup, boiled zucchini, 1 banana
Calories:1176 (about)
No exercise, but played soccer a little with my son (he is 8 years
old). Did a little gardening.
Son challenged me to a race of about 200 meters.
I won ah ah ah.

Hi Estella,

I've had a similar day, although we haven't had supper yet.  Here's what I
have had: Breakfast-Cereal, 2% Milk, Sweet and Low, Lunch- Side Salad,
cooked carrots, broccoli rice casserole, corn, and haven't had dinner yet.
I skipped exercise today but have spent at least 12 hours this week by
walking 24 miles and 6 hours on an elliptical machine.

I have a question here.  Now, I know that I am joining this thread already
in progress.  But the subject says "Vegetables Day".  I expected to read
posts about a day where people were eating nothing but vegetables.  Three
toasts with honey, cereal with 2 % milk, rice casserole and bananas are not
vegetables.  Can someone explain to me what a "Vegetables Day" is?  Really,
I'm not trying to be a problem, I'm just confused.

I was under the impression she meant no meat, since she said banana.  Anyway
I said broccoli rice casserole because it had the broccoli.  I ate well
today cept for the pizza for dinner and it was veggie too.

I am Italian, so we use to have a lot of pasta and pizza.
My pizza is veggie, but also very high in calories :-).
I may post a picture next time I'm doing it. :-)
Even my pasta is high in calories.
So I meant I would only have vegetables and fruit for one day.
I explained it in another post.
Since I'm Italian, I may not use accurate words now and then.

thanks
