I really like the FitDay program, I am using the web version for now, will probably purchase the download shortly.
I am thinking about getting a PDA and wished that FitDay had some sort of syncing software so that when I'm out and about(out to dinner @ a restaurant or a friend's house) I can fill in the meal info at the table and then bring it home and have the PDA sync up with the FitDay program.
I know there are PDA food diary programs out there, but just looking to skip a step(having to enter information into the PDA and then the computer).
Right now I'm either writing the info down on a napkin/piece of paper or remembering it and then inputting it into the computer...
Just a thought...

I am not claiming that this is the best product, just showing that
there are already pda products for diet tracking. Doubtful that it
could "sync" with fitday software.
What I personally do in these situations is this. I know how much
I should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For example, for dinner,
I eat an equivalent of 2 medium sized sandwiches and some vegetables,
plus an egg or something.
So, if I am out, I would simply try to eat about as much food, even if
it is different food.

Matty,
Have you thought of getting a PocketPC w/modem? You could dial in via
your PocketPC and enter using the PocketPC's IE browser to Fitday. No
syncing!!! :)
Of course, for me, I just remember it and put it on the computer when
I get home! :-P
Cheers,
Joanna

I agree with you, Matty. I love fitday.com, but the lack of ability to
synch, it a huge drawback.
Also, keep in mind that if you download the software, there is no way
to synch it with the online version. I have nearly five months of
daily food intake, and haven't purchased the software because there is
no way to import what I already have online.
But, as David Letterman says to hecklers at his show: "And what did
you pay to get in?"
