Has anyone tried it?  Could anyone send a copy to me?

Thanks.

No, but it sounds Atkins-like. Assuming that flour means bleached-
white (i.e. pure sugar) flour.

Yes, it is low carb, but there is a certain amount of fruit allowed too, so I
am curious about it.

I try and steer well clear of any "diet" that has someone's name to it.
However, evidence is strong that the increase in obesity over the last
forty years is proportional to the increase in sugar and refined starch
consumption.

I know if I drop all foods with any sugar, all flour based products and
pretty much all other refined starches, my weight drops. It's a great
way to break a plateau! However I cannot keep this up and maintain my
chosen activity.
I couldn't "do" Atkins. I cycle a lot; I'm trying to build myself up for
some Audax events (100km and 200km rides) and I just cannot fuel that
kind of calorie expenditure (according to my HRM, I can burn 5000
calories on a 200km ride) without substantial use of carbs; although
even then, I try and stick to low GI stuff that's been "grown" rather
than "manufactured".

Of course, when you are 75Km into a ride, and you are dizzy and sick
from low blood sugar (the cyclists "bonk") you cannot beat a hot sweet
cup of tea and a doughnut... <sigh> this "health" trip is quite hard
sometimes!
