Lather, Rinse & Repeat *sigh*
I'm stuck again it seems at 200 lbs. I cannot seem to shake this mark -
I am doing all my right things too. I've done a refeed. I've changed my
exercise routine up some, added a mile even. I've stuck to my 2200
calories for 5 days straight trying to break this mark. I guess I need
to lower my calories?
I'm noting that while my carb intake is staying under 50 a day, my fat
intake is a little higher than I want. It's about 1/3rd of my total
intake. Is that where I am going wrong? Or lower my carbs some?
Any thoughts appreciated

As you lose you'll have to adjust your calorie intake down. Not drastically
but if you were eating 2200 calories when you weighed 260 that's about 8.5
calories/pound. Now even though you're eating the same amount it works out
to 11 calories/pound.

Either increase your exercise to burn up the excess calories, decrease the
number of calories you eat, or ideally both. I'd try between 1800 and 2000
calories to start with. (1800 if you don't increase exercise and 2000 if you
do.)

By the way......if you're concerned about the number of carbs remember that
approx 58% of the protein you eat converts to glucose (carbs) in your body.
That's why low carb diets are usually higher in fat percentagewise.

It's possible that your caloric intake has caught up to your lower
weight, so that you're effectively eating at a maintenance level.  The
same level that gives you a caloric deficit when you weigh 260 may not
do so when you weigh 200.  I know that for me, this level (11 *
bodyweight) would not lead to weight loss.  Everyone's metablism is
different, but if I were you I would try dropping down to 2000 or 2100
calories a day and see if that gets you started losing again.

Chris and Jeri have already gave you some great advice.  I'll just add -
Stick with it!

Many of us get stuck at a certain weight and often it just takes a little
adjustment to our eating and exercise to get us over the hump.

Of course we're all different, but I've been at your weight and I
wouldn't have expected to lose on 2200 calories - I go for nearer
1500, but I'm not suggesting you do that yet.  However, perhaps you do
need to try lowering your intake a little in line with your reduced
weight.

And when I was at that weight I was eating around 1600.  When I got
into the 180s or so I lowered my target to 1500.

Echoing Janice, we're all different.  But this is the first thing I'd
try.

Susan, 2200 calories is quite a bit of food. Try eating less, for
example, 1800 calories per day. That would give you about 1 lb weight
loss per week.
