Hello all,
Well today I got on the scale and it read 199 pounds. Yippee for me!
Tomorrow will be seven months since I started eating healthy, exercising,
and visited my doctor and weighed in at 300 pounds. I have another 24
pounds to reach my goal of 175. I have been pretty good at sticking with my
new WOE and really feel I'm under control. I'm still walking about 20 to 24
miles a week and use either a stairclimber or elliptical machine for 5 to 6
hours a week.
Thanks to everyone for your support these last seven months. I'm hoping to
reach my goal by June 30th, if I make it I will have lost 125 pounds in 10
months.
I hope everyone is doing well with their weight or maintenance,
Paul

Congrats Paul! It's a pretty big milestone not only to lose 100 lbs but
also to break the 200 lb mark. Keep up the great work!

order, again.

Thanks Ig,
I look forward to losing the next 24 pounds. My family is starting to
give me a bad vibe. I tell my mom I'm going to lose another 24 pounds and
she says I'll look sickly, and I can tell my wife's a little nervous cause
I'm nearing her weight and she's afraid of me weighing less than her. I can
tell her she has nothing to worry about, but it doesn't matter. She has
been supportive so far and I hope she continues.
I will get some new pictures as soon as we get some sun outside. It's
been cloudy here lately. I actually had taken some recently, but for some
reason couldn't upload them to webshots. I think it's because I turned the
camera on it's side and messed the pixels up, or something like that.
How is your calisthenics coming along? Are you increasing you pull-ups
yet?
Take care,
Paul

A normal family reaction. Maybe you can somehow positively motivate
your wife to lose weight. I never pushed my wife to lose weight during
my weight loss (I am kind of tolerant of the 25-30 BMI range for her),
but she decided to do it seeing my progress. She has very little to
lose, maybe 10 lbs, (bmi 27). I personally do not have a stake in this
in the sense that she looks cute enough for me. But, healthwise, it is
better to be slimmer. I will still love her even if she gets abot BMI
30, but it would not be as attractive looking.

Take some good pictures where your body composition is seen, some of
your previous pics left me guessing. I am not saying, god forbid, to
take naked pictures, just some where your whole body is seen in, say,
a t-shirt and jeans.

Not increasing, no, unfortunately, but doing them daily.

Has your wife tried losing weight like you are or is she healthy at that
weight?

I know what you mean. Relatives have been cheering me on all along, but
recently my husband's step-great-grandmother said, "You have to stop!" And
my mother asked if I was eating enough and losing slowly. Once I'd answered
affirmatively to both questions, she gushed that I look great.
