Good for you, Carol. It sounds like your plan is working.
Raisins call out to me now . . . They have sweet little voices that say
"It's ok - we're *friut*" . . . hmph
Good luck on your root canal. Thank God for modern dentistry!

The family did not do well on the diet this week. They did not report
in without prompting. Last week's star granddaughter stayed the same,
so did I. The granddaughter who needs to lose 40 pounds did not report
in. My daughter gained two pounds. I have four and a half pounds to
lose in 75 days.
Like Cher said,
"The weigh of love is a weigh of woe
Will the day come
When we see it go"?
Raisins call loudly to me. I think I have a raisin receptive hormone
implanted somewhere. And so do dried black mission figs.
Fitday calorie info attests that they are like those Wagnerian heroines
whose singing smashes you on the rocks!
I'd like to float the endontist near one.
The root canal I had three weeks ago was medieval not modern. Five days
after an emergency root canal, he wanted me to use the original
scheduled appointment to do another one when I was still in pain. When
I refused he growled at me that he had lost an hour's work. I thought
he was going to demand $800 for my refusal to get in the chair until
root canal number two had healed a bit. Ever the drama queen, I faxed
him my sentiments in the matter and am now at his mercy tomorrow at
10:00 a.m.
I who am usually a masochistic model patient, am dreading tomorrow.
The first of the three root canals was uneventful. This is the end for
now. I remember when Grannies just had all their teeth pulled and
floated dentures in bedside glasses or saucers.
If I ever go to an old folks home at least the permanent crowns can't
get lost or stolen! :-)
