If you're an early bird you can catch reduced registration fee for Fat
Fest.
Just post your application and fee no later than April 1st. That's a $25
savings to you. Such a deal!

The organizers are getting more and more excited as we meet weekly to plan
this fantastic event. Here are just a few of the reasons we're so excited:

1. Great workshop leaders are volunteering to present a wide variety of
both fun and informative workshops.

2. We're bringing Lynn McAfee out from the East Coast and she'll be
leading a workshop and delivering the keynote address. If you don't know
about
Lynn's work, she's our unofficial but extremely effective representative in
Washington, DC and she's got a lot to tell us about what's going on there
in
relation to the weight loss industry and the hysteria over the "obesity
epidemic".

3. Cathy Miller of Big on Batik will be coordinating the fashion show and
she has a lot of great ideas on how to make it even better than ever. She's
ready to make make you a fashion model extrordinaire if you'd like to strut
your stuff at our Saturday afternoon fashion show.

4. Marilyn Kalman will be emceeing our Sunday night talent show which
could include you if you'd like to perform. Her klezmer band will also be
performing.

5. We'll have a hospitality suite open through the weekend with games and
fat positive videos ongoing.

6. We're planning a great trunk sale in which our vendors will knock your
socks off with their products.

7. The Westin Hotel has an indoor pool with stairs for our swimming
pleasure.

8. A lot of great women are already registered.

Won't you join us? It's going to be a great weekend.

In case you haven't gotten the information yet, here's the scoop.

Um, you posted this in several diet groups. Isn't the point of these groups
not to be fat? Advertising for a fat acceptance fest is kind of  insulting
isn't it?

Notice the crossposting involved? It was a troll to get a flamewar started
between the newsgroups.
