Exercise -- just a little housework and shopping

Chris
262/155/ (145-150)  {Weighed myself at the gym today and was down a
couple of pounds.  I tend to lose before a meet because of nervous
energy, and because I try to restrict sodium to avoid water weight
surprises.  This is really lower than I should be, but my instinct is
to be pleased rather than to try to go up a few pounds.  After the
meet I will pig out a bit and then try to work toward dropping down to
my goal range.}

What kind of meet are you competing in?

I do.  And they're just 18 calories each and about 1/3g fat.

Olympic weightlifting -- the National Masters in Savannah, GA this
coming Friday.  In ca\se you don't know what Olympic weightlifting is:
it consists of two lifts, the snatch and the clean & jerk.  Both are
dynamic lifts that involve lifting the bar from the floor to overhead
-- the snatch in one motion and the clean & jerk in two (floor to
shoulders, then shoulders to overhead).

I was just joking though... I knew they couldn't be too bad for you or else
YOU would not eat them... :)

Are you going to let us know how you do? Is it just over the weekend?

Thanks a lot for you advice in the posted reply, I'm going to try your
suggestions indeed.

Thanks.

She has gotten SO good at shopping that she can find size 8's that fit!
I am impressed with her prowess.  Was it practice that made her so
good?  :-)
