You can drop fat-acceptance, you know. They know the risks and choose to be fat anyway. They get something out of it and they're the ones that get to decide. So stop bullying them to lose weight... and don't cross-post over there! I'm still learning to use Xnews, but it always asks me if I want to reply to all the groups where the message appeared and then lists them. I check off the ones in which I don't want to participate. Also, up above the message, there's a field that indicates the newsgroups you're posting to. (I loved OE so much more <sigh>)  SignatureWalking on . . . Laurie in Maine 207/110 60 inches of attitude!
