Hello ASD friends,

Just wanted to post that I've lost 115 pounds now.  I have only 10 pounds
left to lose to reach my goal.  I really can't believe I've lost so much
weight and it really hasn't been that tough to me.  Early on I had a little
problem with things like Sun Chips and Wheat Thin's, but got them out of the
house and never looked back.  Today I eat just to feed my body and not to
comfort me.  I feel like I've conquered the food and food hasn't conquered
me.  Life is so much better now for me.  I enjoy working out now too.

I hope everyone is doing great with their eating, exercise, losing weight,
or maintaining.

weight loss.

Congratulations! Yours is really an inspiring story! You were so successful,
you motivated me to go out and buy Dr. Phil's book to read.  That took a lot
of inspiration because I really can't stand the guy, BUT I figured  if what
he had to say inspired you so much, I'd get it and give it a read.  Sadly,
it is taking me forever to get through it due to time constraints, but I
will keep working at it!  Keep up the good work; I am looking forward to
your I made goal post...should be soon!

Paul:

Lately, I've been refiguring my goal weight.  I am sort of thinking that 115
would be ideal for me.  So, if we both reach goal (and I am confident that
we will), that means you will have lost the equivalent of me!

Ditto on the inspiration part.

How did you do it?

How long did it take?

Hi Steve and everyone else,

Thanks for the kind words.  Steve I did it by cutting out the junk foods,
eating healthier foods, more often and less portions than before plus
walking and using a stairclimber or elliptical machine.  The best thing was
getting past the cravings I use to have for things I use to eat.

Anyway things are so much better today compared to 8 months ago.  It took 8
months to lose 115 pounds.

Goodnight all,

Paul
