I've been eating my herring/tomato paste/spinach stew for about a week
now and have found a tasty combination: 1) microwave 8 oz spinach for
3 minutes, then chop up. 2) add four ozs tomato paste and four oz
water 3) add two 3.5 oz cans of herring - shred 4) add two teaspoons
of curry powder. 5) add salt to taste (none for me - I'm salt
sensitive). Microwave an additional 4 minutes. Benefits: spinach,
tomato paste, and herring are all "super foods." The tomato paste and
herring can decrease your risk of heart disease. Calories: about 500.

however you try and dress this up and re-present it, it still sounds

Aww shucks! Well, I eat it every night, and I keep finding
improvements. Last nite: Cento brand Italian spices (2 teaspoons),
and 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil instead of the 2nd can of
herring. When I get the "sauce" to be truly yummy I'll post again.

However, they are much less super when you remove a large
portion of vitamins by microwaving them.
