The weather is going to be in the 90's this week!  I went swimming for the
first time time season on Saturday.  It felt great.  I look forward to using
the pool frequently this summer.  One of the only benefits of living in
Texas in the summer.

When's the swim party, PG<g>

Swimming is great exercise.  As a kid I spent my summers in the pool.  The
pools and lakes will be opening this weekend around here but the water will
still be too cold to enjoy.

This Sunday.... you're invited!
My problem is that I don't want to swim during the day.  I avoid sun
exposure and like maintaining my pale ("porcelain") completion.  I have the
whitest legs around and I like them that way!

If you have a very fair complexion that's wise.  I have medium tone skin
and tan easily but still use plenty of sun screen when going outdoors.
Between the sun screen and the ivy block I doubt too many sun rays get
through<g>

I made the mistake of swimming last August for 5 hours in the heat of the
sun.  I put waterproof spf 50 all over every 30 mins.  However, my back
still got burned up.  Nearly a year later, I can still see the bathing suit
straps on my shoulders.

Very impressive weight loss photo diary!

It was interesting to see how different your face looks from the before
photo to the latest "after" photo.

Someone could walk by you on the street and not recogonize you.

Thanks!  I would have more updated picks if I didn't gain a  couple of lbs
this month.  I've been on prednisone and that stuff is killer for a diet.
I'll have to take it another 10 days too.

A buddy has a huge pool in his condo complex, and I usually spend every
Saturday there. It officially opens Monday, and I can't wait.

LOL...that's probably the BEST part of living in Texas in the
summer...except come July the only time you can go swimming and actually
enjoy the pool is around midnight!! LOL!! It NEVER cools off here at
night. I swear one of these days I will put ice cubes in the pool.

I just thought about starting swimming again tonight too...Go do a few
laps and get back into it. Almost too hot to go for long walks already.
