First a big thanks to the girl from Texas who mentioned swimming the
other  day....I decided to go try out my pool last night and let me tell
you I owe you a big one.

Not sure if ya'll remember my mentioning how I was almost killed by my
previous horse a year or so back. I've spent the past year in pretty
rough pain with my neck and shoulder from the fall. Had MRIs, massages,
chiropractor but never tried the acupuncture route. I finally gave up
and thought I'd either have to live with this pain and discomfort or
have to give in to surgery since I was told that the muscles deep in
were what was causing the trouble.

But last night I did 40 laps. This morning I woke up and notice
immediately movement in my neck and shoulder area and what no pain? Full
movement? Please tell me it wasn't this simple? In any event, you can
all guess I'll be swimming every night this summer from this point
forward. Thanks doll for the mention of swimming.

Well, hey chickiepoo...  where have you been.   (or have you been
abscent all this time because of the horse accident?)

I hopped in the pool last night, ours is up to 86 degrees last night,
and let me tell you, after an hour of biking (1/2hr each way) and a
workout at the gym, the pool was very refreshing.    Its finally warm
enough that I'll volunteerily go in, so I'll have to start intermixing
swimming and aerobics into my routines.

Yeah...it's been a rough year of sorts...first the horse accident which
almost killed me and being a single mom (well in a long term
relationship still) I had to recheck the priorities and decided to give
up my passion of riding at least for awhile. Maybe one day I'll be brave
again. But never foolish to start a young horse again.

I've been in and out of the court system with the ex over Child
Support...he finally stopped paying in January because well he spent his
money from the sale of his business and is refusing to find a REAL job.
We're waiting to see what the Attorney General will do next. The stress
has been unbelievable and mom was not feeling well the past year.

I started a new company besides BC with a few excoworkers from my ex's
company and we're just getting off the ground but already landing some
pretty impressive Special Events. So financially things may be looking up.

Been a good girl otherwise...never did lose those 10lbs I had been
working on. But I've been walking, eatting good and taking care of
myself. Sleep is still a luxury that I crave. Just one night all the way
through would be a miracle.

But good to be back amongst friends. I am so glad that a friend showed
me how to log on from my Mac. It's been too long.

Love, Laughter, and Friendship,

Lisa

And the best thing is that it is one of the FEW public places you can go
these days where you don't have to deal with television sets!
