Let's say that you went on vacation and ate some items that you
shouldn't have. How long does it usually take for your body to get an
accurate weight to see how much you gained? I usually weigh myself the
next morning, but I'm not sure if that's accurate?

Usually it takes me a week or so to even out.  I retain tons of water when
on vacation, and it doesn't seem to be something that equalizes for me,
until several days after I get home.

Do you dehydrate yourself while on vacation?

For me it isn't dehydration so much has increased sodium intake.
Restaurant food has way more salt than my normal/at home food and it
takes several days at home for this to get out of my system.  I don't
know how much of a factor this is for det, but that is definitely a
factor for me.
