Thanks for the link. I've been to this site and they have calories and fat,
but not protein or carbs.

Huh. Applebee's only posts points, calories, fat & fiber.
This link has some carb counts on some of their menu items.

This is also a great site for most common american restaurants - just go up
one level in the site to see all the restaurants

for what it's worth it's on the menu...not that it's much help right now.

I e-mailed them and asked and they said they "did not have" that
information. (of course they have it, they needed it to calculate the
other info!) Maybe if enough people ask... The same goes for Ruby
Tuesday. I appreciate that they are providing some info so I am
reluctant to harass them but it would be really nice to have all of the
info. Baby steps, I guess.
FWIW, I had the tilapia and the chocolate cake. Both were quite good ;-)

There is an Applebees right near my WW meeting place. Monday a girl from
Applebees stopped by and brought several of the WW meals for us to try.
Everything was really good and the chocolate cake was great. I guess that
is a good way for them to get our business as we said we would all go there.

I am eating the tortilla chicken melt right now (made with a whole wheat
tortilla, stuffed with good stuff like broccoli) and it is excellent. I also
wish I had the protein and carb count. Oh well.

OK, I had to go and look and the photo of the tortilla chicken melt. It
looks yummy. I'm glad to hear that it tastes good too.

I did some experimenting on www.calorieking.com, and added up the
ingredients listed. I compared what I found with what was listed for
calories and fat, and I came pretty close. So here's what I came up with:
Applebee's Tortilla Chicken Melt
Calories 482 cals
Fat 13 grams
Carb 23.5 grams
Fiber 6 grams
Protein 59.7 grams
I might have overestimated how much chicken was in there, cuz the protein
total sounds correct. But I was pretty close with the calories (I came up
with 482 and their website said 480 so...).
