been back on track since wed june 2/04 biking for the last week. And
walking 1 - 1.5 miles everyday, and also taking the dog for a walk as wel 15
20 mins 3 times a day , the biking I do twice a day sometimes because I am
now biking to work. When I started this diet on Wed I weighed 140lbs or
close to it.
This morning I weighed in and I was down to 137lbs. I am so happy now I
just hope that this continues. I am still working out a few kinks . And have
some changes to make as well. But I am doing that one day at a time I have
stopped eating junk food. And have not had any for a week. I have also
stopped drinking diet pop as of yesterday. And I am back on weight watchers
as well. I do it on my own because I can't afford to offically join. But it
works just as well.
My next thing that I am working on is not eating when I am not hungry or
when I am bored. And to also stop eating after 8:00 o'clock at night. Those
are two of the harder things that I will have to work on. I think now that
I have things some what under control and am exercising and also getting my
water in that I will get to my goal a lot easier now. It has been really hot
here the past few days. Today it is 30 degrees out. It is so nice and summer
hasn't offically started yet.
Okay I think that is it for now I will report back later on how I am
doing.

Congrats on the 3lbs gone, Angie. You're taking a good approach my
tackling a few things at a time.
I envy anyone who can commute to work on a bike. I would do it in a
heartbeat if it were possible.
Have you used the www.journaltosuccess.com site? It's for tracking WW
points and might be useful to you.

Good work!
> I am still working out a few kinks.
Always. I mean, there is always something to work on. I have a dog
that I compete in dog agility with. If we get one thing right, another
thing breaks (weave poles are good but now the teeter is slow, etc.) I
think that this WOL is the same. There is always some room for
adjustment/change. Sometimes it's just a small thing like finding
recipes to use more of what is in season and sometimes it's a wholesale
"I need to get my butt in gear and get back on track."

Yeah, I have stopped the diet soda thing as well. I still have coffee
though :-/ I try to limit myself to one diet soda a week. I think that
it has helped my teeth a lot too. You know, not having all that acid in
my mouth.

Yes, this is a big one for me too. Eating should not be entertainment.
I mean, I enjoy a good meal as much as the next person but it should
not be something to do when I am bored.
Thanks for the update!

Good for you Angie, glad things are going well and you sound as if you
have some good strategies.

I have learned from several people on here and on other boards that I
belong to, that you have to find what works best for you. And if it means
trying one thing and finding that it doesn't work Then you find something
else that does.
It's not easy but ,this is how I have manged this time round to stay on
track. Plus keeping an online journal has also helped me. I have a new
friend that I met on one of the boards and we are helping each other by e
mailing a couple of time a day or whenever we need someone to talk to. And
it is helping. I know that if I keep making the right food choices and keep
up with my exercise then I will make my goal hopefully by my birthday.
Will post again at the end of the week or sooner of how things are going
thanks for the encouraging words every one who has repliyed it has helped
more then you know.
