Hey, I have discovered this chemical that can help us lose weight ... it's such
a simple chemical that every 3rd grader knows it's formula ... it's H2O.

Anyways, since about 18 months ago I started drinking more and more water ...
first about half a gallon a day, then a gallon for a while ... then 2 and 3 and
today I'm up to an average of 5 gallons a day. It really helps you eat less ...
I haven't ever had a day where I exceeded 1000 calories or 50g of carbs. Also I
haven't gone to any resturant or fast food resturant for 6 months. It really
helps. I had a BMI of 34 in December of 2002. Today my BMI is down to a 25. I
lost 50 pounds in 18 months.

Does anyone diet in such extremes?

Maybe it was all that running back and forth to the bathroom that burned off
the extra calories.

18 months is 72 weeks.  Losing 50 pounds in that time is losing less than a
pound a week.  That is very moderate.  People posting to this group have
lost 2 pounds a week through changing their exercise and eating habits.

Why are people so concerned with rate of loss?  It's not a race.  50 pounds
is nothing to sneeze at.  So it took a year and a half.  She did it very
easily too.  Just drinking more water and eating less.

The post you just read, unless otherwise noted, is strictly my opinion

But the OP iis very obviously trolling.  Could you drink 5 gallons of water
a day?  I like water but that's ridiculous!

I agree, timing is not everything.  My concern was she was thinking it was
extreme when it is not.
