Food & Exercise -- 6/20/2004

Food:

9:00 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese

10:45 (home): 3 mint meringues

12:30 (home): sandwich w/ 102g chicken breast on 1 slice whole wheat
bread

3:30 (driving home from gym): energy bar

7:30 (home): 132g roast chicken breast; 74g sweet potato; 84g
asparagus

10:30 (planned): 1 cup f/f cottage cheese w/  1/2 cup blueberries and
2.5 tablespoons sugar-free preserves

Totals: 1300 calories, 21g fat (14%), 133g carbs (41%), 143g protein
(44%)

Exercise:

Cardio program week 6, long day: 45 minutes treadmill run in pattern
(1 minute at 4.8, 4 minutes at 4.7)

Chris. I am so glad to see you still doing so well!! I read posts about
every 3 days or so now and you still continue to be my inspiration with
your dedication.
 I started a cardio program as well. I currently am at 2 18 minute
blocks a day. my 18mins are made up of 6, 3min blocks in a pattern of 3.5
and 5.5.
I love it. I feel it gives me more of a workout than just a constant
pace. Keep up the good work!! I am proud of you. :)

Thanks so much, Jamie!  I thought of you the other day -- hadn't seen
you on the list in a while.

Good going on the cardio program.  I find it makes a significant
difference in weight loss as well as in just energy levels and overall
well-being.
