Well inspite of all the medical issues and happenings of the last
month or so, I went for my WW weigh in tonight. I was down 600g (1 lb)
from my weigh in 1 month ago, so I am really pleased with myself. This
is inspite of being hypothyroid and not doing any real exercise. Now I
need to pick up the exercise so not to lose muscle, now all I need to
do is find some motivation. My food choices on the whole have been
good. I guess I really have changed my habits. I am reading the group
still but am to tired to post alot, so congrats to all the losers.

Me too, on both counts.  It sounds like you're doing better than you
expected to at this point in your recovery!  Hope you continue doing
better and better!

This is great news.  I certainly hope you're feeling better and can post
more often - you've been missed.

Michelle, I am happy for you and I hope that your doctor thinks that
your weight drop after your surgery is due to healthy reasons. I hope
that your cancer won't recur... you have great chances with thyroid
cancer...

Great job on the good food choices, Michelle -- now you can build on that good
foundation by slowly adding another healthy habit. Changing everything at once can be
so overwhelming -- but letting one good habit become a "no-brainer" before you add
another one -- now that's a great strategy for success!
