I fell off the wagon for a couple of days, and I fell hard. I don't know
whats going on with me. I have been having cravings and nothing I have tried
has helped to not cave in. Also I have not really been feeling all that
great either. I have had slight pains in my stomach and am feeling most days
sick to my stomach. Kind of like when I got sick the last time. I hope that
I am not getting sick.
I am back on track today and back to eating the way that I was. I am
sooooo mad at myself for what I have eaten the last couple of days. Because
I was doing so good. I made it threw all the withdrawls once and now I have
to go threw them again. I had a hole bunch of sugar last night . I felt okay
after I ate it and then I started coming down off of the sugar high and felt
terrible.
So this is day one of my restart. No more messing up because I can't
afford to. So wish me luck I need it.

Not too many people ever get to the goal weight without a few mishaps. The
most important thing is to jump up, brush yourself off and start again.
You'll always be successful if you can do this, Angie.
Try to think back to what might have caused this problem. It might help to
avoid it in the future. I often find that when my stomach is upset I want
to eat for comfort. Could the stomach pains have caused it?

First things first...
Angie, just what and how much you ate when you fell off the wagon? Did
you completely lose control? Is this the first time it happened to you?
How much are you eating while dieting? What do you eat when you are
"being good"?
What I am driving at is, losing control completely while dieting is a
bad sign and a sign that something needs to change. But perhaps you
did not lose control completely and just splurged a bit. That's why Iasked.

I didn't really over do it. I just didn't make the right choices of things
that I could have eaten. The first night I had two donuts, and a fairly
large brownie from work.
the second night i had two date squares two chocalate chip muffins, and a
bosten cream donut.
tonight I had three double chocalate fudge cookies and a cheese croissant
fresh out of the oven. the rest of the night I craved stuff but I did what I
did when I first stopped eating junk food and drank chocalate milk and
water. And was able not to eat anything else bad for the rest of the night.
as far as eating goes. during the day I know that I am not eating enough
before going to work, but that is because of lack of food in the house. food
shopping isn't til friday. So i have been eating most of my meals when I go
to work. I try and make my self a healthy salade using what we would
normally put in our sandwiches. Minus the bread of course.

Hi Angie,
Don't feel bad, don't kick yourself, just get back on it and you'll
feel good again.
I'm curious, what exactly did you eat for the last couple of days?
Maybe you didn't do as badly as you thought!
Feeling sick to your stomach? What is a typical day on your diet?
Food, calories, etc? What WOE are you working on?

i am currently doing weight watchers and watching my intake on high carb
foods
I think the reason I am feeling this way is because I am prob getting my TOM
soon and or I could be getting the flu or a cold it is going around here and
I was sick for a while last month.
Angie
Ps am starting to feel better now though

Okay, good luck! Seriously, you're doing the right thing to just get
back on track. And don't waste too much time beating yourself up
about your lapse. Give some thought to what might have caused it so
you might be able to avoid it happening again.

I'm not so sure I'd be as successful as I have been lately if I was
surrounded by the foods you are. If I remember correctly, you work at a
donut shop- Tim Horton's, perhaps? If anything, you need the will of 3 of me
to get through the day!
I just read your post about not having food in the house so you have to eat
at work. Just the other day I was looking thought TIm Horton's nutritional
guide on the web someone posted here a while back- there isn't a whole lot
on the menu to choose from that I'd want to eat, especially day after day!
You simply *have* to bring more fruits and veggies with you to work- no more
excuses! I realize you don't go food shopping until Friday, but what are
your other choices? Starve at work? You're setting yourself up to fail- and
I'm telling you I'd fail too, because it would be like me working in a
chocolate factory- I wouldn't be able to hold out very long.
I think I suggested to you a while ago if it was an option for you to look
for another job in a totally different environment- maybe a Home Depot or
something, something that has you moving all day- and that doesn't have all
those yummy temptations. I'm not sure what you make, but the pay scale has
to be somewhat parallel, no? I know changing jobs is frightening, but if
it's a choice between your current comfort zone and your health,
weeeeell.... you'd eventually have a whole new comfort zone, and a whole new
group of friends!
I still wish you the best of luck. I know I couldn't do it if I were in your
shoes. :( Or at least it would be very, very, very difficult.

I have no problem dieting and working where I am I was doing fine and I
have figured out why I had the little slip up and I am back on track. And as
I said before when you mentioned to me about finding another job that is
still not an option. I am not leaving a secure job to go somewhere else
where it will not work out.
I am getting the hours now that we need to survive and am not giving that
up. thanks for the suggestions but I am quit happy where I am and am happy
to stay here.
