changed the way I eat, live, and work.
I have lost a pants size but I don't know how many lb's yet.
My new eating plan is really no big deal, and that is the biggest part of the
plan for me. I just do what I need to do w/o making it a big deal. So far,
it's working, I'll take what I can get. When (or if) it stops working, I'll
change it.
I don't have a goal weight to reach, my goal is to weigh less now than I did
before. So far, I'm doing well w/ it. When (or if) I'm not in the future,
I'll change it. :)
I can see myself doing this from here on out. I wonder how far down I'll be
when I get weighed in August. It will be here quick, so I won't have to wonder
long!

Good for you Kat, you're doing great. I try not to make my WOE a big
deal, too. I prefer to get on with it and life and think about food
etc as little as possible.
And, yes, we know August will be here quick but personally I love the
summer so please don't wish it away too quickly:)

You're definately on the right track, Kat. I prefer using how my clothes
fit as a measure rather than the scale. The scale often doesn't tell the
whole story. I know I've gained a few pounds when the jeans get a little
tight around the waist<g>
I don't want August to get here quickly! I haven't done half the things I
want to do this summer...

Tell me about it. This week has gone by so fast. Next week will probably
go by even faster. Then we're off to house hunt in our new town. DH has to
report for the in-service new to the ISD training on August 6th and school
starts the 16th! It's gonna be here before we turn around twice it seems!
On a on-topic note, I went shopping for walking shorts to wear on the trip
and I bought size 14! Definitely doing the dance of
joy. It's weird though that Target only had the mini shorts in regular
sizes. The shorts had three inch in-seams! I'm 47 and way past the age
where I'd be comfortable showing my butt cheeks! I ended up going to K-Mart
of all places but since I don't plan to be able to wear these shorts next
summer they don't have to be high quality.

I'm real particular about the length of my shorts.....just ask my sister<g>
I drove her crazy when we were in Florida and shopping for shorts. I never
did buy any while we were there. I'm 61 and I want them to come close to
the top of my knees. I've always been able to find that length at Talbot's
or one of the local department stores. I just stuck with my cropped pants.

Tell me about it! My thighs have not caught up with my weight loss (I pray they do
without me having to resort to surgery) so I really have to watch the length-- and
the shorts out there are ridiculous -- 3-inch inseams, give me a break! I sure hope
to see some style changes in general ... around here it is so hard to find clothes
that fall between "hooker" and "granny."
