I am happy to report that I am back on track after my little slip up. And
I feel great I did a clculation of how many inches I have lost since Feb
2004 and I have lost 21. 5 inches roughly. So even though I have been
regaining and relosing the same 10lbs over the last couple of months I am
pleased with the amount of inches that I have lost over all.
Also I have completely changed my way of eating and think twice about
what goes into my mouth most days. When I have slip ups like the ones I did
at the beginning of the week, I have learned not to beat myself up over it
and to just move on. I have set goals for myself over the summer and am
determined more then ever to reach them. I am back to exercising almost to
where I was last years when I lost my first 30lbs.
Between March /04 - Sept /04 I lost 30lbs with weight watchers. And I am
hoping tilose another 10 - 20lbs with it this time around. I have learned
from this group and from other gorups that I belong to that it is not only
emportant to watch the amount of food that goes into my mouth but what
kinds, I have done drastice changes in things that I used to eat.
Now mind you I do miss some of the things that I used to eat, but I just
sit back and rememeber how they made me feel after I ate them and then I no
longer miss them. Or if I do eat them I then no longer want to have them
anymore after I have because of how they make me feel. I want to thank Chris
for post her daily food intake and exercise routine. Because reading her
posts has made me realize that any one can lose weight if they really want
to. And also for Kat because reading how much you have changed over the last
two weeks has realized how much we are a like.
Okay, I have been back on track now for three days and counting. I have
exercised everyday, even on the days that I went off of my program. I have a
feeling that , that has helped me big time.
Thanks for listening and the great advice that everyone has been giving me
here you don't realize how much it has helped me over the last month or so.

These are some of the most important changes on the way to losing
weight. It sounds like you're really on track to reach your goals,
Angie!

Gee, thanks! {blushing} I just do it to keep myself honest, but I'm
so glad it's of use to someone else!

Well done Angie. What struck me in reading your update is that you
have learned from your experiences and made fundamental changes to
your thinking and eating, which seems to have really helped you to
carry on with the journey despite setbacks. As someone with a history
of losing and regaining, I know how important it is to try and change
my whole attitude. I have also found this group has helped me
enormously with that.
Congratulations on your progress so far.

thanks Janice and I do agree that with out this group I prob would have
given up a long time ago. but reading the posts and posting here has helped
in a big way. I am working on a few changes as we speak in my diet plan.
Today I am back to not having junk food and not drinking diet pop. I had
one pop and that was first thing today. I have a challenge for myself set
not to have any from now until July 21/04 when I go back to my doctors
(about my acene).
I also walked to work which is about a half hrs walk. I did it at a steady
pace it was the first time I had walked that far in a long time. I was tired
but other then that felt okay. I then worked a 8 hrs shift and took the bus
home tonight after work. but had to walk 10 mins in the rain to the bus
stop.
All in all I had a good day today without any junk food. Tomorrow my goal
is to have no bagels and to make sure I get all my water in. I weigh in
tomorrow so I will post how I do after a weigh in.
Thanks for the replys.
