I didn't go out walking for walking sake so I didn't make my goal but for a
day of site-seeing it was OK.  We're trying to visit all the places in
Lubbock that we haven't gone to or that we want to see again before we move
away.  We went to the Silent Wings Museum and out to pay our respects at
Buddy Holly's grave.  If you get to visit Lubbock, I highly recommend the
Silent Wings Museum.  It's subject is the glider pilots of World War II.
Lubbock Army Airfield was one of the many training bases for the glider
program.  It's very well presented.  I never realized that gliders had such
a vital role in WW II.

It was a beautiful day, so I went for a walk over to the other side of the park
and back to check out a couple garage sales in our neighborhood. (Came home
with two books of poetry and a Revereware egg poaching pan!)

You're doing pretty well yourself Mary:)

I haven't bothered to calculate the time difference between where I am
and where you all are from each other, but I find every day I'm ready
with the next day's results when you guys haven't finished posting the
day before, so I write it down, hold on and wait.  I know I could be
first all the time, but that seems like I'm just trying to be smart,
LOL.

As I type this, it's 2.30pm on Monday here in the UK.  I have my
Sunday results ready but am waiting for everyone to finish Saturday.
