Patience is key. :)
I measured myself this morning (have decided that scales are harmful to my
health ;)) and my waist has decreased a whole 1 1/2 inches since I actually
started measuring myself (March). Hips are down an entire inch and a bit.
Don't know how much I weigh right now... I'll check at the end of the month.
I'm not expecting a big change on the scale, but the measurements are
exciting!
I have NOT changed the way I eat drastically, but I do find myself at the
gym 5-6x a week. I spend about 30 mins on the elliptical and 20 - 30 mins
on the bike. I also am loving using the ball for everything. Since all the
personal trainers spend a lot of time in the weight room with their clients
I'm learning a lot about proper use of weights and ways of using the ball -
don't have a PT myself, but I watch and listen. (However, if I wasn't
college student and had some extra cash I would hire a PT in a heartbeat.)
While doing some crunches yesterday at the gym, these two "skinny" girls
(maybe around 17) came in and also attempted crunches. Imagine the smile on
my face when they said they could only get up to 18 while I was making my
way up to 100. :)
I'd say I feel pretty good right about now - so good I went out and bought a
bikini, lol. Now I'm just waiting for the waterpark to open and a heatwave
to come along. :)
