Men are not as good at maintaining?

I just spoke to my friend, who has some background in nutrition (she
studied "nutrition") somewhere, and she said an interesting thing,
that men generally fail more than women, in maintaining their weight
loss. Is that really true?

I doubt it.  There may be a slight difference, but probably not
signifigant.  Sounds anecdotal to me.
