Summer time... ICED TEA time!

Well, drinking more on hot summer days is a good idea! I love my hot
tea, but hey, on a hot day, more warmth isn't what I want, especially
with our air conditioner being broke.

So, yesterday, I fixed one of my regular hot teas, Uncle Lee's Organic
Chai Orange Ginger (rooibos blend) as an iced tea.

Absolutely delicious... and has good anti-oxidants as well!

No sweetening of any kind needed, it's very tasty on its own.

So go experiment and see what you come up with!

(Of course, I'm still drinking water as well, but the iced tea is a
nice change, especially with dinner.)

I like to use Constant Comment which is an orange and spice tea
out of Bawmer (you have to live here to understand that).  It has a
black tea base.

We drink iced tea year round here.. morning noon and night.  It is Texas
after all..
Lipton, brewed by the gallon, iced, unsweet, no lemon please.

I grew up in Texas... and I love lemon too!

But Lipton gets kind of boring. George had a container of it,
pre-sweetened, ugh. I used that up and won't be replacing it.

Plus, I like the extra antioxidants from green and rooibos teas.

I switch off between green, black and roobias too!
I just like all types of tea!

I've hardly met a tea I didn't like... though someday, with my
tendency to try stuff, I probably will.

Here in Virginia, too.  I also like it no sweetener or lemon, but I
love the spice tea variants.
