I wouldn't be too sure about the tummy tuck being needed. I've lost a
bit more than you plan to lose -- from 262 to 144 -- and I don't think
a tummy tuck would make any sense for me. My tummy is quite flat,
albeit with rather wrinkly skin. I don't think there's enough excess
to really make it even feasible. It may be different if you carry
most of your excess weight there, I guess. Mine was sort of evenly
distributed all over. (I'm female, by the way.)

I'd think you shouldn't want to know. The slower you lose, the less
muscle you lose, the more chance your skin has to unstretch, and the
more likely you are to not rebound after.
I'm down 40lbs (2lbs/week) over the same time period, and am very
happy with this rate of loss and also its consistent pace. Slow &
steady is the way to go.

I'm 80% to my goal weight, yet only 50% toward my waistline goal.
Somewhat annoying.
I put on my 33" 501's from college, and indeed I've got about 5" of
belly fat still to lose, so indeed I may have to diet down below 182
to get to my real goal, fitting into those jeans again.
we'll see if it's true that lipo is the only hope for some people. I
think with continued loss the belly will indeed go, I've heard it's
the last to go, which makes sense somehow, since it was the first to
appear.
