Goal: 12,000
Actual: 13,318
I did go out walking at the park after it started cooling down. I walked
for about an hour and it was just getting dark enough to use headlights when
I got home.

Goal: 10,000 + regular workout
Actual: 14,425 + stair stepper and elliptical
Note: Today (Friday) is the last day that I am participating due to the
holiday weekend. Also, tonight I am going out to dinner (Rock Fish) and
wearing a dress that is not pedometer friendly so I may be low... I did
make it to spin class this morning as usual though, so I met that part
of the goal :-)
I do hope that we do this again in a month or so. I have really enjoyed it!

The Rock Fish here in Lubbock has some of the best salad I've ever had. The
last time we went there I had the salad with blackened shrimp. I was in
heaven it was so good. Does anyone remember the name of the cartoon dog who
would hug himself, oohing in ectasy and end up levitating and floating
gently back to the ground after getting a special snack? I was like that.
Tomorrow we have the 4th on Broadway parade and street festival here. It's
the largest free festival in Texas. It's a mile long stretch of street
(both sides) with vendor booths, bandstands and various other activities
that goes on almost all day after the parade which is usually 1-1/2 to 2
hours long. I'm going to wrack up a lot of steps because we usually go up
and down the whole mile at least 3 times. That stretch of street is home to
about 5-6 churches so they're having it on Saturday because you can't cancel
church in Lubbock ever. The fireworks will still be on Sunday. That'll be
a lot of walking too because the porta johns are usually far, far, far away
from the viewing area.
