HI all,
I have several stretching and exercise tapes that I've used (and love)
since the late 80s.
With everything going to DVD how am I going to play these tapes?
Is there a DVD player/recorder that I can use to record these tapes to
a re-writable DVD disc?  If so, can anyone direct me to a site with
the faq's or instructions on how to do this?
I've looked for my beloved tapes on DVD and apparently they do not
exist.
Any help is appreciated.

Be sure the formats are compatible. I don't know everything about this -
I've been waiting for the price to come down.  It's looking good!

the price is right, but I'm thinking that sooner or later I won't be
able to get a vhs at all...is there such a thing as a dvd recorder
that will record my video tape to a disc?

That's what those units do!

Any DVD-recorder can take video input.  Spend the $400 to get one,
hook the output of your VHS-player to the input of your DVD-recorder,
and dud away.  The price of DVD-recorders has been falling steadily
so in a year they will be under $200.  I predict $199.99 on sale
for the Christmas season in at least one big discount chain.
