Its one of those days...
Came into work early as I knew I would have a busy day ahead of me.

Had to give a training session this morning, ended up starting late
which meant it ran thru lunch.   Immediately afterwards I had 3
emergencies to deal with (not to mention the 2 interruptions during
the training session) then I had to prepare for another meeting by
2pm, and a conference call at 2:30.

Needless to say - lunch wasn't in the schedule for today - a bummer
as, today is the last day for one of the guys at work and I missed his
going away lunch.  He's a good guy and I'll miss him too.

So, here it is 3pm and although my conference call has been postponed,
I've still been very busy.   But hunger is setting in.    Go to my
fridge and because I had gone on vacation and I haven't restocked all
that was in there was some provolone cheese.   My dry storage supply
is also out, I ate the last of my tuna earlier this week.

Lunch was 3 pieces of cheese and a granola bar.  Of course that has
left me still hungry.    I just stopped myself from buying something
from the vending machine.

3 more hours before I can get something to eat that would be healthy
and in my woe.   :{

Mmmmmmm.  Cheese.

I've been hungry all day today, too.  I don't know why.  Leptin rebound
or something?  I actually had - gasp - one of those drumstick ice cream
cones this evening - a small generic brand one.

Sugar, refined carbs and saturated fat.  What was I thinking?  (Okay,
I'll tell you what I was thinking - I had just taken my small
underweight boy on a long hike and figured I could get some calories
into him and some leaped into my hand and went down my gullet at the
same time.)

I'd better just go to bed now before I head for the cheese sticks.
